For their successfully operating sales and service subsidiary (turnover of approximately 250 Mio € and more than 400 employees) based in Bonneuil-sur-Marne, we are currently hiring a

Chief Financial Officer (m/f/d) France

Based out of the successfully operating sales and service subsidiary (turnover of approx. 250 Mio € and more than 400 employees), this exciting and responsible task will comprise:

  • Being part of the management team and directly reporting to the Managing Director, you will partner with your peers to execute the subsidiary’s growth strategy.

  • Taking charge of the complete finance portfolio of reporting, planning and budgeting, financial analysis and controlling;

  • Managing IT operations and executing IT projects (i.e. ensuring ROI, sustainably implementing new processes and tools) as well as being in charge of general services (i.e. facility management and purchase);

  • Transforming the finance and IT functions in order to establish business partnering in and across teams and in alignment with headquarters; you bring added value to the finance group and lead by your visions and ideas.

  • As Director you provide a vision to a team of 37 people in total and manage 4 managers (IT, Controlling, Accounting and Facility Management); guiding with empathy as well as strong leadership skills.

Job requirements

  • A business degree with focus on finance/controlling;

  • 7 years of professional and 5 years of leadership experience in an international matrix organization; in commercial durable businesses, e.g. power tools, construction or material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, building material, outdoor and gardening devices etc.

  • Successful track record in a sales & service subsidiary of a global corporate as well as strong sales and business controlling skills;

  • Sound knowledge of French and international tax, accounting and reporting standards, and experience in treasury, planning, and analytics;

  • Solid track record in project management and SAP environments;

  • A systematic, structured and reliable way of working combined with a hands-on approach;

  • A coaching leadership style marked by empathy and geared towards top team performance;

  • Strong command of French and English (written and orally).
