Kärcher has been in Turkey for over 20 years employing 75 staff. Currently the company is looking for a Finance Director (m/f/d) based in Istanbul, Halkalı.




This exciting position is responsible for the comprehensive financial management of the successfully operating sales and service subsidiary in Istanbul with a turnover of 15 million EUR. Reporting both to the Managing Director and to the Regional CFO and managing a team of 12 people with 7 direct reports, your tasks will include:

  • Being responsible for the complete financial spectrum of accounting, reporting, planning and budgeting, treasury, risk management, tax, financial analysis and controlling;
  • Being also in charge of Logistics, Internal Organization, Purchasing, IT and HR (payroll & admin);
  • Being part of the management team, you will be a sparring partner to the Managing Director and support the growth plans of the company,
  • Representing the company during financial audits, meetings with banks and logistic companies as well as establishing good relationships with these companies;
  • Monitoring and optimizing all administrative processes within the organization;
  • Coaching and developing your team.

Job requirements

For this exciting and growth oriented position you should possess:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus;
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in an international environment, and at least 3 years finance leadership experience;
  • Sound knowledge of local and international standards in accounting and controlling, especially commercial controlling, tax, cash-flow and FX management, financial planning, risk management, corporate reporting and analysis;
  • First experience in Logistics, Purchasing, legal and administrative matters;
  • A systematic, structured and reliable way of work combined with a hands-on approach;
  • Turkish as mother tongue and fluency in English (both written and orally);
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Proficiency in SAP system.
