For the further development of the growing customer segment industry we are looking for a Global Key Account Manager (m/w/d) – Industry for the Headquarters in Winnenden near Stuttgart.

In this international position, your main task is to acquire and develop global key accounts for the target group industry. Reporting directly to the 'Head of Global Sales & Business Development Professional Channels', this entrepreneurial role includes the following tasks:

  • Successful acquisition and sustainable relationship building of international key accounts through direct sales, as well as the preparation and negotiation of framework agreements;
  • Support of international subsidiaries in key account management, both strategic and operational, mainly in the food, chemical, automotive and engineering industries;
  • Development of business strategies for the target group industry in close cooperation with the product management, marketing and sales departments;
  • Building strong know-how of the industry sector and developing training and workshops to increase the competence level of the company at all levels.

Job requirements

For this exciting challenge with a strong global reach, you should have international key account management experience in the B2B segment for industrial customers. Additionally we expect:

  • A successfully completed commercial or technical degree (business administration, industrial engineering and management)
  • Extensive experience in direct sales of global key accounts, with a strong focus on individual technical solutions;
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, ideally also initial management experience in an international context;
  • Fluent in English and ideally a good level of German;
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 50%);
  • Previous experience with durable goods (e.g. material handling equipment, industrial trucks, gardening equipment, agricultural and construction machinery) would be a plus.
