Our client is a renowned international producer of construction and maintenance machinery, with over 10.000 employees in more than 100 countries. The company has a great reputation for quality, durability, customer orientation, sustainability and as an employer with very high satisfaction and staff retention rates.

They are now establishing an independent country subsidiary in Serbia, with a focus on Sales and Marketing. For this exciting new task we are now searching for a

Managing Director (m/f/d) Serbia

based in Belgrade

What are your tasks?


  • Build up the new subsidiary to a size of ca. 7M Euros and ca. 20 employees (a small team and some infrastructure is already established).

  • Managing Sales and Marketing, especially B2B, but also B2C within a broad multi-channel approach including dealers, direct sales, franchises and internet sales.

  • Contributing to supporting functions, such as Finance, HR and Logistics.

Job requirements

What could your profile look like?

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, with a focus on B2B products.

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience, including P&L responsibility.

  • A self-starter with a hands-on attitude and long-term-orientation.

  • People orientation, excellent communication skills, inspiring.

  • Leading by example, being supportive towards your team, developing them.

  • Experience in managing startups would be a plus.

  • High proficiency in English and Serbian at a native level
