Professional Channels Key Account Manager

This position is based in Winnenden near Stuttgart


In this international position, your main task is to acquire and develop channel key accounts for the professional sector. Reporting directly to the 'Head of Channel Management', this entrepreneurial role includes the following tasks:

  • Successful acquisition and sustainable relationship building for channel key accounts in Kärcher’s professional product range, as well as the preparation and negotiation of framework agreements;
  • Support of Kärcher’s international subsidiaries in channel key account management, both strategic and operational;
  • Creation of channel key account development strategies for professional channels in close cooperation with the product management, marketing and sales departments;
  • Buildup of a strong know-how base for the professional channel key accounts and developing a strong international business network.

Job requirements

Your qualification

For this exciting challenge with a large international reach, you should have international key account management experience in the B2B-Channels segment. Additionally we expect:

  • A successfully completed commercial degree (e.g. business administration, industrial engineering and management)
  • Several years of experience in handling channel key accounts in the B2B sector, ideally having a strong affinity for online sales;
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to build up a fruitful network, intercultural competences and analytical skills;
  • Fluency in English, German and French would be an asset;
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30- 40%);
  • Previous experience in the automotive and construction industries would be a plus.
