Sales Director (m/f/d) Target Groups – B2B

 

As a key member of the sales leadership team, reporting to the VP Professional Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a global key account management strategy for specific target groups. Leading a team of 7 people your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the achievement of sales and profit targets within your key accounts;
  • Building up and managing 5-10 global key accounts in your assigned target groups (automotive, construction, agriculture, industry and transport);
  • Developing and implementing long-term-oriented sales strategies (e.g. aftermarket strategies, loyalty building, enhancing buying center penetration, etc.)
  • Initiating and accompanying the change by supporting subsidiaries to successfully implement global KAM strategies locally;
  • Networking and sparring with connected departments, such as customer service, logistics, after sales and production in order to set up a holistic KAM strategy and to identify further business opportunities.

Job requirements

For this exciting position you should have a strong strategic and entrepreneurial mindset in order to help elevate the sales organization to the next level. Furthermore, you should have:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, mechanical or civil engineering or the like;
  • Relevant experience in sales and key account management in a multinational organization, ideally in a related industry, such as industrial and commercial vehicles, construction or agriculture machinery;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on coaching;
  • Ability to lead and implement change processes;
  • Appreciating, motivating and influencing style of communication;
  • Fluency in English (both written and orally); German would be a plus.
