Due to the expansion of their international sales management team in their headquarters in Reutlingen / Germany, we are currently hiring two ambitious
Area Sales Managers (m/f/d)
for the Northern or Central European Region
Main Position Responsibilities
In this position, you will either be responsible for the existing key sales region in Northern Europe (e.g. Baltics, Sweden, Norway, Finland) or Central Europe (e.g. Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia) and you will have the opportunity to expand the business in other growth regions. Your main residence will be in the area of Reutlingen / Germany.
As part of the area sales management team (3 colleagues based in Germany), you will drive our business growth in the municipal product range in your dedicated region.
You are the central sparring partner (m/f/d) for our Kärcher subsidiaries, owning the sales strategy with strong growth as a key goal. You develop annual business plans and drive execution towards clear and measurable targets.
Your key target customer segments are municipalities, governments, and large contractors. With your sales expertise, market and product knowledge, you enable the local Kärcher teams to successfully sell our products & services.
You support the local sales teams in key account visits and conducting product demonstrations to develop a clear value proposition for our products. You will attend international fairs to represent Kärcher Municipal.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international B2B-sales related to industries like municipalities, vehicles, construction or agricultural machinery, professional cleaning, landscaping appliances, forklifts, or similar.
Proven track record in sales within a global organization, especially in public tendering.
Willingness to travel throughout Europe (approx. 50%).
Fluency in English, German and every additional local language is certainly a plus.
Strong customer and service orientation combined with negotiation skills and a solid technical understanding of our products.
A strong coaching and business partnering mentality combined with a self-starting attitude and drive.
