Managing Director (m/f/d) Denmark
Embedded in the Nordics sales region, and reporting directly to the Regional President, this exciting and responsible role will comprise the following tasks:
Elevating the business of Kärcher Denmark to the next level by enhancing a strong multichannel sales structure for an extensive product portfolio and representing the Kärcher brand in front of a highly diverse customer base and partners.
Working closely with the Regional President and fellow Managing Directors in order to set up a mid-and long-term strategy.
Ensuring the further growth of the business and the achievement of sales and profit targets, taking over responsibility for P&L and all operations.
Acting as a role model for a strong corporate culture across all hierarchies and leading an experienced team from sales and service, logistics and customer service. Furthermore, establishing a performance culture as well as developing future leadership and succession planning within the organization.
Building up a strong communication channel at every level of the organization and being a central figure in promoting the organization’s culture and its shared values.
A successfully completed technical or economic university degree or higher education (e.g. management, business administration, electrical engineering, machinery etc.) and several years of experience in senior level general or sales management positions in international matrixed organizations.
A proven and successful sales track record as well as an operational and strategic exposure in commercial durable businesses, e.g. power tools, construction or material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, building material, outdoor and gardening devices etc.
Strategic thinking and acting: ability to understand the needs of the market, anticipate trends and respond to opportunities and threats.
Fluent in English and Danish.
An empathic leadership style with a focus on professional development and coaching.
An outgoing personality, entrepreneurial skills, a self-starting attitude and, the strong desire to add value to the organization.
