Embedded in the Central European sales region (Netherlands, Belux, Austria and Switzerland), and reporting directly to the Regional President for Central Europe, we are currently hiring for their growing subsidiary based in Made (Noord Brabant) / Netherlands a

Managing Director (m/f/d) Netherlands

About the Position

Based out of the successfully operating sales and service subsidiary in Made with around 120 employees and growing annual turnover (approx. 67 Mio. €), this exciting and responsible role will comprise the following tasks:

  • Elevating the business to the next level by enhancing a strong multichannel sales structure for a large product portfolio and representing the Kärcher brand in front of a highly diverse customer base and partners,

  • Ensuring the further growth of the business and the achievement of sales and profit targets, taking over responsibility for P&L and all operations,

  • Executing sales and marketing strategies for our digital products (e.g. fleet management apps, rental products and IoT solutions for cleaning companies),

  • Leading an experienced and great team from finance, sales, HR, IT and service with a very independent and self-starting attitude. Further, being a sparring partner in terms of leadership and change management to them,

  • Building up a strong communication channel to every level of the organization and being a central figure in promoting the organization’s culture and its shared values.

Job requirements

  • A relevant university degree or higher education (e.g. business administration, management) and several years’ of experience in senior level general or sales management positions in international matrixed organizations,

  • A proven and successful sales track record as well as an operational and strategic exposure in commercial durable businesses, e.g. power tools, construction or material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, building material, outdoor and gardening devices etc.,

  • Fluency in Dutch and English,

  • An empathic leadership style with a focus on professional development and coaching,

  • An outgoing personality, high analytical skills, a self-starting attitude and the strong desire to add value to the organization.
