Sales Director (m/f/d) Indirect Sales


As a key member of the sales leadership team, reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing the indirect sales within the Portuguese market. Leading a team of 8-10 sales representatives your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing long-term-oriented sales strategies for the dealer channel (e.g. enhancing proactive sales approaches, implementing telemarketing etc.)

  • Prospering the dealer network, hereby having a strong focus on the development of each partner, in order to achieve a more professional, growth-oriented, and sustainable distribution.

  • Coaching and developing the team by following up their daily sales operations and monitoring their performance & KPI’s.

  • Networking and sparring with connected departments, such as direct sales, logistics, warehouse management and marketing inorder to ensure a smooth operation and to pursue a consistent strategy.

Job requirements

For this exciting position you should have a strong strategic and customer oriented mindset in order to help elevate the organization to the next level. Furthermore, you should have:

  • A university degree in Business Administration or the like.

  • Relevant experience in indirect sales, ideally coming from a related industry, such as power tools, industrial and commercial vehicles, construction or agriculture machinery.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on coaching and team building.

  • Appreciating, motivating and influencing style of communication.

  • Fluency in Portuguese (both written and orally) and very good English skills.

  • Valid and current drivers license as well as the willingness to travel nationally 3-4 days a week.
