Finance and Administration Director (m/f/d)

What are your tasks?

  • Being part of the management team and directly reporting to the Managing Director, you will partner with your peers to execute the subsidiary’s growth strategy.

  • Being responsible for the complete finance portfolio of controlling, cash management, investments, risk management, planning and budgeting, financial analysis and reporting.

  • Managing Legal, Process Management, Compliance and local IT support.

  • Guaranteeing an efficient management of the company resources, supported by financial analysis at a high level to the company management team.

  • Supervising local Compliance Manager with all legal-related topics, taking appropriate action; enforcing policies, legal requirements, procedures, and processes set by HQ Governance or authorities.

  • Transforming the finance functions in order to establish business partnering in and across teams in the organization and in alignment with headquarters.

  • As Director you provide a vision to a team of 20 people in total and manage 5 direct reports; guiding with empathy as well as strong leadership skills.

Job requirements

What do you have?

  • A business degree or equivalent education in finance with focus on controlling or accounting.

  • 7 years of professional and 5 years of leadership experience in an international matrix organization; in commercial durable businesses, e.g. power tools, construction or material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, building material, outdoor and gardening devices, etc.

  • Successful track record in a sales & service subsidiary of a global corporate as well as strong sales and business controlling skills; Sound knowledge of local and international standards in accounting and controlling, tax, treasury, cash-flow, financial planning, risk management;

  • Solid track record in project management and SAP environments;

  • Understanding the key drivers of a dynamic market, with Customer Centricity: commercially aware, understanding and anticipating the trends and the needs of both operations and management.

  • A systematic, structured and reliable way of working combined with a hands-on approach;

  • A coaching leadership style marked by empathy and strong communication skills, geared towards top team performance.

  • Strong command of Polish and English (written and orally).
