Managing Director (m/f/d) 



About the position

This exciting and responsible role will comprise the following tasks: 

  • Driving the development of the Indian subsidiary in line with the global corporate strategy and further expanding the company's presence in a highly dynamic and competitive market,

  • Taking full responsibility for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and operational excellence with a clear focus on sustainable and long-term business success,

  • Ensuring the growth of the business through a strong focus on profitable sales expansion across all relevant channels, including B2B, B2C, direct and dealer distribution,

  • Leading and developing a high-performing leadership team across all functions (sales, aftermarket, finance, HR, etc.) and acting as a strong sparring partner in terms of change management and strategic transformation,

  • Building up a strong communication channel to every level of the organization and being a central figure in promoting the organization’s culture and its shared values.

Job requirements

Your Qualification

  • A relevant university degree or higher education (e.g. management, business administration, industrial engineering) 

  • 25+ years of professional experience with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles within a manufacturing environment,

  • Proven experience in leading pan-India sales and aftermarket organizations within a larger corporate and international matrix structure,

  • An empathic, servant leadership style with a focus on professional development and coaching,

  • An outgoing personality, high analytical skills and the strong desire to add value to the organization.
