Retail Sales Channels Director (m/f/d)

Position

  • In this dynamic leadership role, you will oversee the sales channels Home Improvement, Electro and Food (including Discount) and the Online Pure Players for Kärcher in the Czech Republic . You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

  • Bringing along a strategic mindset, you will develop and execute strategies and follow up on designated sales channels to achieve set KPIs. You will implement international sales strategies in the local market, close alignment with the region and the HQs.

  • Leading a team of 7,  you will monitor daily operations and ensure performance and KPIs are met by Recruiting, evaluating the performance, training, coaching, motivating and developing them.

  • Ensuring that the retail partners are professionally managed at all required levels, you will further optimize the processes in the retail sales area.

  • You will set ambitious sales targets, regularly monitoring the targets achievement and initiatives correction activities.

  • You will initiate and participate in the organization of local sales events, national sales promotions, and monitoring their results. This approach will help Kärcher to increase its market share, localize its brand, and drive growth, ultimately strengthening its position in the market.

Job requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's university degree in Economics or Business.

  • At least 5 years successful experience as Retail Sales Manager/Director.

  • Excellent people management skills, with a minimum of 5 years of team management experience and proven track record of driving sales and profitability.

  • Confident and dynamic personality with focus both on target achievement and collaboration. Service oriented, strong networker and able to cope with complexity.

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in Czech (both written and spoken) and professional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level). Ability to translate both technical and non-technical efforts for different audiences.

  • Category "B" driving license and ability to travel on business trips.
