Senior People Director (m/f/d) China

Position

• In this future-oriented position you will be responsible for designing and implementing a progressive human resource strategy as well as a standardized end-2-end people process for the Greater China Region with up to 1000 employees in the fields of production, sales and engineering.

• You will lead and guide an ambitious team of 10 experts within the areas of business partnering, HR projects and services. 

• You will proactively drive strategic HR projects (performance and talent management, employer branding, talent acquisition, digitalisation, organizational development etc.), while ensuring profound business partnering with the management, as well as reliable and efficient administrative services.

• As a primary contact to the international HR community within the Karcher Group, you will contribute to the global strategy, sharing best practices, learnings, and challenges, thereby building a sustainable and supportive network.

• Finally, you will establish a strong communication channel to every level of the organization and be a central figure in promoting the organization’s culture and its shared values.

Your Qualification

• A successfully completed business university degree or higher education (e.g. Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Organizational Psychology etc.) and at least 10 years of professional experience, ideally within an industrial production business.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience as a People Director/ Human Resource Director in an international matrix organization is required.

• A strategic and entrepreneurial way of acting and thinking with a focus on modern Human Resources, performance, results and creating business relationships.

• Strong communication skills in Mandarin as well as fluency in English, both written and verbally.

• Exceptional leadership skills that foster a collaborative and supportive environment, empowering teams to thrive and achieve shared goals with empathy and sincerity.

• An outgoing personality, high analytical skills, and the strong desire to add value to the organization.
