For their growing and successfully operating sales and service subsidiary (turnover of approx. 2 billion INR and more than 250 employees) based in Noida /Uttar Pradesh, India, we are currently hiring a

General HR Manager (m/f/d) 

What are your tasks?


  • In this responsible and growth-oriented position you will lead and develop an ambitious team of 3 HR specialists (HR operations, payroll, compensation & benefits, recruiting). 

  • Being part of the local management team and directly reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure profound business partnering in order to provide strategic direction and knowledge expertise in all people-related matters. 

  • You will develop a local HR strategy based on the global HR strategy and further drive strategic HR projects such as employee engagement, employee retention, talent management, employer branding, talent acquisition, succession planning. 

  • You work closely with hiring managers to form high-performing teams, develop robust competency maps and plans, and retain top performers in a competitive market environment.

  • As a primary contact to the international HR community within the Karcher Group, you will contribute to the global strategy, sharing best practices, learnings, and challenges, thereby building a sustainable and supportive network.

  • Finally, you will establish a strong communication channel to every level of the organization and be a central figure in promoting the organization’s culture and its shared values.

Job requirements

What do you have? 


  • A university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) related to HR, like Business Management, Psychology, Education or other relevant business degree.

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional HR experience, including at least 5 years of leadership experience in an international matrix organization reporting to the head of the organization. Preferably, in commercial durable businesses, such as power tools, construction or material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, building material, outdoor and gardening devices, and similar sectors.

  • A strategic and entrepreneurial way of acting and thinking with a focus on modern Human Resources topics, performance, results and creating business relationships.

  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbally. Additionally language proficiency will be an advantage.

  • A thorough process orientation in combination with an international mindset, high analytical skills, and the strong desire to add value to the organization.

  • A transparent leadership style paired with a collaborative and outgoing personality, with the ability to empower teams to thrive and achieve shared goals.
