Operation Finance Director

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for operational excellence, driving cost reduction, process improvement, and productivity growth.

  • Oversee all manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and inventory management.

  • Oversee and manage the entire financial cycle for manufacturing, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.

  • Manage the supply chain, ensuring on-time delivery of materials and minimising procurement costs.

  • Develop and implement effective internal controls and risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks associated with manufacturing operations.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in manufacturing and supply chain management.

  • Analyse manufacturing data and financial performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial technologies and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Stay current on accounting principles and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.

  • Oversee and manage the activities of the Finance, Legal Compliance, HR, IT departments.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operations leadership role within the manufacturing industry.

  • Proven track record of success in managing the firm’s operations and improving financial performance.

  • Finance Certificates (CPA, CFA) and Chief Accountant Certificate designation preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Profound knowledge of the vietnam tax system and regulations.

  • Proven knowledge of financial governance standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in English in both written and communication.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.

  • Fluently using ERP platform such as SAP, Oracle,… (manufacturing modules).

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies is a plus.
